UAE announces private sector holiday

The UAE announced a public holiday for the private sector to mark Prophet Mohammad's (PBUH) birthday, National Day, and Commemoration Day. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced that the holiday will be from Thursday November 30 to Saturday December 2. Private sector employees will return to work on Sunday December 3, according to a circular issued by the authority.

Eid Al -Fitr 2018 : Holiday announced

The Federal Authority for Government Human resource has declared that Eid Al Fitr holidays will in UAE will begin from Thursday (14th June 2018) which is 29th Ramadan As per the announcement holiday will last till the third day of Shawwal . If Eid falls on Friday which is June 15 then the holiday will be upto 17 June and work will resume from Monday 18th June 2018. We will update you once official dates are announced .

Petrol Prices in UAE all set increase from 1st December 2017 .

UAE residents will pay around 12 fils more per litre for petrol starting on Friday from 1st December 2017 as oil prices hit a new two-year high earlier this month. It was announced on Tuesday that consumers will pay Dh2.15 a litre for Super 98, a 5 per cent rise from November’s figure of Dh2.03. Special 95 will increase 6 per cent to Dh2.04 from Dh1.92, and E Plus will cost Dh1.97, up from Dh1.85. Diesel prices will rise to Dh2.20, a 4 per cent hike from last month
